Background

Anna’s Background:

Anna’s curiosity for ecological topics began as an undergraduate student at Purdue University where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental and Ecological Engineering. During her time at Purdue she took courses in Urban Ecology, Environmental and Ecological Engineering Systems, Ecology and Evolution, Evolutionary Biology, and Natural Resource Information Management which exposed her to a broad range of ecological topics.

Since her graduation in 2021, Anna has been working in environmental compliance and exploring her interest in ecology as an independent passion project. She is especially interested in studies of biodiversity, conservation management, and anthropogenic effects on ecosystems. Anna is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Anna is continuously seeking opportunities to learn through literature, media, field experts, and hands-on experiences. Anna enjoys hearing from others in the field of ecology and participating in impactful ecological research.
